The IIO workshop includes hands-on practice using advanced search techniques as well as an orientation to the PROACtive Process to more effectively manage and use any type of external or internal information. The overall goal is to cut costs, save time, know more and do more.

In addition to advanced search and other Internet related training this fast paced program will present tools, techniques, concepts and methods to Plan, Retrieve, Organize, Analyze and Communicate internal and externally derived information.

Each participant will receive a license for RFFLOW software for data analysis and visualization. An overview is provided in the Analyze portion of the workshop.

Learning objectives: Understand how to better utilize search engines and advanced search techniques to obtain larger amounts of relevant information faster and use the PROACtive process to manage information more effectively.

IIO attendees receive a PDF file with Adobe slides using embedded bookmarks keyed to workshop exercises.

The cost for the one day IIO workshop is $295 per person, with a $25 per person discount when one organization registers three or more people.

Participants need a laptop capable of Ethernet or WiFi connection to Internet. A limited number of rental laptops are available at $35.
